Educational options in Durango have rapidly expanded in the past five years and local families now have many choices when it comes to finding a school that provides "the right fit" for their students. Our local school boards and educational leaders are excited by this progress but much work remains to be done! To this end, School District 9R and Animas High School are sponsoring a Town Hall meeting which will be held on Tuesday, February 11th from 6-8pm at the Durango Library.
Please join AHS's Executive Director Michael Ackerman and 9R Superintendent Dan Snowberger for an evening of dialogue and planning for the future. Our school leaders will be soliciting your feedback for future planning and seeking our community's ideas on how enhanced collaboration between local district and charter schools can and should continue to benefit all of Durango's students.
