As deeply saddened as I am to
arrive at this crossroads, I feel incredibly blessed to have had the gift of
Animas High School in my life. I am incredibly proud of our students,
teachers, families and this community.
Durango is my home and I am inspired to continue building upon
all we've accomplished here over the past 5 years. Right now I'm excited to be
a part of AHS through the remainder of the 13-14 school year, ride my bike and
spend some long overdue downtime with my beautiful wife Rachel.
The success of Animas High School has never been and never should be anchored in a reliance on any one individual. I'm confident the amazing students, faculty and families involved with this distinguished high school will continue the push for educational and cultural excellence.
Thank you all for your love and support on this journey. Together, we have accomplished amazing things.
